Exercise Baltic Operations 2023 kicks off in the Baltic Sea

Nineteen NATO Allies, one NATO partner nation, 50 ships, more than 45 aircraft, and approximately 6,000 personnel kicked off the 52nd iteration of Baltic Operations 2023 in Tallinn, Estonia, June 4, 2023.

The Turkish Ay-class submarine TCG Batiray (S-349) and a U.S. P-8A Poseidon from Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy, took anti-submarine warfare (ASW) training to an advanced level during exercise Sea Breeze 2017.
NAVEUR plans, conducts and supports naval operations in the European theater during peacetime and as tasked by the EUCOM commander as the primary maritime component.
